Everything is done for you: Plug and Play#

Here at Edgegap, we think that every game developer should spend most of their time working on the actual game (gameplay, level design, character design, etc.) and not on the boring side modules like a matchmaker. This is why we highly recommend you to use our fully integrated Open Match solution.

Almost everything is done for you#

Sometimes you need more control, and we understand that. However, it doesn’t mean that we can’t help you. This solution lets you host your Open Match here at Edgegap. You will still have access to our hosting advantages, and you will have more control over your decision.

This solution lets you code your own Open Match’s components (Director, Front End, Match Function).

Let’s start#

If you use this solution we recommend you to follow this tutorial. Keep in mind that everything in this tutorial is for learning and testing. The code is not production-ready, and all the Kubernetes management will be done on our side.
